SchuF Changeover Valves are used for Dual Relief Valve Systems and as Switchover Valves from one line to another. The design of these valves makes it impossible to shut-off both valve outlets at the same time.
The SchuF Changoever Valve permits the mounting of two relief valves on a single riser. This leaves one valve active while the second is either on stand-by or being serviced. Our rising stem design allows the user to change over quickly and efficiently from one relief valve system to another.
The transfer is done in less than 90 seconds, without system shutdown, using no special tools. Other valves take significantly longer in changeover time and may require several tools.
The rising stem and metal to metal seats offer superior sealing performance, prevention of product loss, and over pressure production of the system at all times.
